I was born in Oak Park, Illinois on December 12, 1970.  When I was five years old, my family moved back to my parents' hometown of Corinth, Mississippi, where I was raised.  After graduating from Alcorn Central High School in 1988, I earned my Associates Degree in Accounting from Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Mississippi. In 1992, I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at the University of Mississippi.  In 1994, I completed my Master of Accountancy Degree, while attending Law School at Ole Miss.

After receiving my law degree in 1996, I worked as a law clerk in Jackson, Mississippi, for Justice James L. Roberts.  In 1997, I left my position with the Supreme Court of Mississippi to pursue a Master's of Tax Law Degree (LL.M. in Taxation) at the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida.

My wife and I moved to Memphis, Tennessee, after I graduated with my LL.M. of Taxation in 1998.  I received my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1999.  After five years of working at other law firms, I decided to open my own office in 2003.

The most rewarding part of my career has been the opportunity to get to know so many people, and to be a part of their lives. I enjoy helping them accomplish their goals, whether that's through a home purchase, or starting a business, or establishing a secure future for their children through estate planning. I build long term relationships with my clients, because they know I care about them, and about what's most important to them.
